Pastoral Care
Our pastoral care is supervised by the Senior Leadership Team.
The Pastoral Provision is led by the Senior Welfare Manager.
The team is supported by an Assistant Pastoral Lead, Parent Support Advisor, Pastoral Support Assistant and two Learning Mentors.
The Assistant Head for Pastoral, Inclusion & Behaviour is the designated person for looking after children.
We provide personalised support programmes, including:
- Learning Mentors
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Communication Support
The team supports students to access their learning by supporting their:
- Emotional, Social and Behavioural needs
- Mental health and well-being
- Relationships and friendships
- Sensory needs
We work closely with external agencies:
The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD)
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
Social Services, including safeguarding teams and children’s disability teams.
Transition Service Team
Education Entitlement Team (EET)
Inter-agency support through Early Help Assessments (EHA’s)
